Senior Care United leadership will email you your first task. When you finish, you'll submit a quick card/craft verification form.

Approve your hours
When your cards are delivered, reply to the confirmation email from centennialseniorcarefirst@gmail.com to approve your volunteer hours with your school or district.
Background
Small effort, real difference.
At Senior Care United, any effort to make a difference is a difference. A handwritten card can change a senior's day — volunteers like you remind them they aren't alone. We started with simple motivational cards and have grown to include seasonal cards for the holidays.
Writing cards isn't just about lighting up someone's day; it lets seniors know there is a support system outside their home filled with young people in their community who care. You have creative liberty — we encourage bright colors and inspiring messages.
Step-by-step
How to make a card.
Any card made with love is worth sharing. If you're not sure where to start:
- 1Use any paper at least 4 in × 6 in (cardstock or printer paper both work).
- 2Color and design the card however you want — positive imagery, motivational messages, anything that feels warm.
- 3Inside, write a short message addressed to the senior and sign it with your name, your school, or "your friend." Drawings on any side are encouraged.
